Itinerary for your trip.
Day 1
Foundation Systems: First we’ll dive into constructing bombproof anchor systems using both traditional protection and fixed stations. You'll practice efficient top belay techniques, master the art of rope management to prevent tangles and miscommunications, and develop clean transition protocols between pitches. Then we'll focus on specialized skills including rappel setups with backup systems, lead rope management strategies, and proper communication commands for when partners are out of sight. The day concludes with mock scenarios that integrate swinging leads, basic trad gear placements, and troubleshooting common multi-pitch challenges—all designed to build confidence before tomorrow's full route ascent.
Day 2
Multipitch Leading you'll rope up and begin ascending multiple pitches under instructor supervision, applying your newly acquired skills. Throughout the climb, you'll rotate roles between leading, following, and managing the belay station, giving each participant hands-on experience with swinging leads, building anchors with natural features and traditional protection, executing efficient transitions, and maintaining clear communication even when partners are out of visual range. Instructors will introduce advanced concepts like managing rope drag, protecting traverses, and handling unexpected challenges. The day culminates with rappelling back to earth, followed by a comprehensive debrief celebrating your accomplishments and discussing next steps in your vertical progression toward bigger objectives.
