Day 1
Climbing Systems at Mount Erie
We’ll kick off the course at Mount Erie, focusing on the essential systems used in outdoor climbing. You’ll learn how to properly set up ropes, manage gear, and add layers of security in a real-world environment. As we work through these skills, you’ll also get hands-on climbing time to apply what you’re learning in the field.
Day 2
Day 2: Outdoor Climbing Movement
We’ll return to Mount Erie to build on the systems from Day 1, setting up climbs and focusing on movement techniques. You’ll explore different styles of outdoor climbing while learning how to adapt your gym skills to real rock—refining footwork, body positioning, and route reading on natural terrain.
